General Terms and Conditions

General

The client acknowledges having read these terms and agrees to all provisions, conditions, and prices stated herein.

 

The invalidity of any provision of these terms shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, nor shall it lead to the invalidity of those provisions.

 

Unless otherwise specified or agreed upon, any notification or communication under this agreement must be addressed to AMORE.

 

During your event, photo and video recordings will be made. By participating, you and your guests consent to AMORE’s use of images (photos and videos) featuring you for communication and promotional purposes.

 

All intellectual property rights to the photos and videos taken during the event remain with AMORE. The client may not use these images for commercial purposes without written permission.

 

The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for the event, such as noise permits, and for complying with local laws and regulations regarding noise disturbances.

 

AMORE cannot be held liable for fines or penalties resulting from violations of such regulations.

 

AMORE reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified in due time of any changes.

 

Belgian law applies. Only the Dutch-speaking courts of the judicial district of Antwerp have jurisdiction, without prejudice to AMORE’s right to take legal action before the courts in the client’s jurisdiction.

Bookings

1.1 By accepting the offer, the client explicitly agrees to the terms stated below. Any other conditions appearing in correspondence or other documents from the client are not binding on AMORE.

1.2 All offers are valid for the period stated at the bottom of the offer. Offers are based on the information provided by the client. Should this information prove incorrect or incomplete, AMORE reserves the right to adjust the pricing accordingly.

1.3 AMORE will issue an invoice for a deposit of 25% of the total amount. Once this payment is made, the agreed date is reserved and the event is fully confirmed. Bookings are only final after the deposit is received. AMORE reserves the right to release the date if the deposit is not paid on time.

1.4 Any program changes or additional requests must be communicated in writing at least 7 days before the event.

 

Cancellation

2.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.

2.2 For any cancellation, regardless of reason, the client owes AMORE a fixed compensation equivalent to the deposit invoice of 25%.

2.3 Cancellation up to 60 days before the event: 25% fee. Cancellation within 30 days: 50% fee. Cancellation within 14 days: 100% fee.

2.4 In the rare event AMORE cannot perform due to force majeure, efforts will be made to find a suitable replacement or to fully refund the client. AMORE is not liable for any costs the client incurs.

 

Equipment

3.1 Once AMORE’s equipment is set up, the client is responsible for its safety and well-being. The client is liable for any damage or theft occurring from unloading until reloading after the event.

3.2 The client must provide a safe working environment, including sufficient and stable power supply. Any damage caused by inadequate facilities will be charged to the client.

 

Pricing and Invoicing

4.1 All prices exclude VAT: 6% on live DJ sets and 21% on equipment rental. Package prices are all-inclusive, including applicable VAT.

4.2 If there are more than 12 months between booking and the event, AMORE reserves the right to adjust prices due to inflation or cost increases.

 

Payment

5.1 Upon acceptance of the offer, the 25% deposit must be paid either in cash or by transfer within 10 working days to confirm the booking.

5.2 After the event, AMORE will issue the final invoice, reflecting any agreed changes. Payment is due within 15 working days.

5.3 If payments are late, AMORE reserves the right to charge a penalty interest of 1% per month delay, with a minimum of €25 administrative costs.

 

Force Majeure

6.1 In cases of force majeure, AMORE may partially or fully terminate the agreement without notice or compensation. AMORE will seek a solution, possibly a replacement, if agreed with the client.

6.2 Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: illness, pandemics, extreme weather, government restrictions, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events beyond AMORE’s control. AMORE is not liable for non-performance or damages resulting from such circumstances.

 

Damage

7.1 The client is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests to AMORE’s property before, during, or after the event. Compensation equals the repair costs or, if repair is impossible, replacement costs based on the supplier’s invoice.

7.2 The client is advised to take out event insurance covering damage to materials or third parties.

 

Privacy Policy

AMORE values your privacy and protects your personal data. This statement explains how we handle data and cookies on our website.
